Do you want to know what's going on in your building?

Sign up for your respective building's distribution list!

We will notify you by email of any building activities, service interruptions or construction implications that will affect operations in your building (ex. fire alarm testing, fume hood shut downs, or elevator repairs).

To be added to your building’s distribution list, visit the Listserv site. In the Open List Home Page Section, type in (all lowercase) the appropriate building notification (see below- after Enter:) and click Search.

Commuting & Transportation

To obtain employee parking, faculty and staff must go through a waitlist process in Park@Brown, the University's online parking system.
The State of Rhode Island and the State of Massachusetts both provide a vast network of public transportation throughout both states.
Zipcar and Lyft Concierge contribute to the range of mobility options available to the Brown community and its guests. Beyond traditional transportation avenues, these car and ride share services are designed to provide convenience and flexibility.
As part of Brown's commitment to alternative transportation options, the University provides resources and promotes programs related to bikes and scooters.
Brown University Shuttle (B.U.S.) is a safety-oriented transportation service offered to the Brown community – students, faculty, staff, and affiliates who have a Brown ID. Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) students may also ride using their RISD ID.
